His footsteps thundered through the cave as wild echoes, like a tidal wave upon an empty beach. Each step hit the ground with such force that it left an imprint in the solid rock and with each echo the cave seemed to tremble, causing little rocks and dust to fall from the ceiling. The ground shook under the force off their feet, cracking open each time they landed and pushed off again. "Can't we go any faster?"
