`Like hell I will give him the satisfaction!´ Dailon thought to himself as his body burned with pain. He could feel every injury in his body light up, from the dozen broken bones, to his ruptured organs and burned out arteries. It was as if Cana was deliberately pushing energy into his body to see where the energy resonated.
“Hmmm that is worse than I thought.” Cana mumbled to himself as he focused his attention back to Dailon. Though his gaze rested on Dailon´s forehead, rather than his eyes. “Magical Binding.” Cana mumbled as he used his finger to draw another magical symbol on Dailon`s forehead.
A final blast of energy shot through his brain and instantly Dailon felt how his body froze completely. “Now let´s begin” Cana said dead serious as he began to glow with energy. Without wasting anymore time he started waving the most difficult symbols in mid air Dailon had ever seen. The air itself around the symbols seemed to burn with the raw energy they were emitting.
For the very first time in his life Dailon experienced what it was to face true fear. A stifled scream escaped from frozen lungs as the symbols turned red. For a moment the symbols burned brightly than they disappeared and a deep blue light burst forth Dailon´s body, along with a scream of pain that would even made the most hardened warrior flinch.
What happened next was impossible for Dailon to recall. Even though he did not lost consciousness he would never be able to recall later what exactly happened.

I love your ideas and how you've described Dailon's ordeal, as well as Cana's dispassionate attitude. I've always thought that magical healing would be an intense experience, if not painful. And Magical Binding fits what's happened to Dailon. I love your interpretation of it. 
I'm anxiously awaiting the next part of this story.
