“This is why the institute was founded.” He still continued, not giving the students any time to ask annoying questions. “You see, some can only see a distortion in the air, while others can actually witness it fully in all its glory. While we cannot prove this yet with science, there is an obvious trend that can be seen.” He said, his voice returning to it´s casual self as he noticed despite their confusion that everyone listened closely. “While there are some people who don´t fit into it, 95% of all people who can see the fortress, seem to prove the current theory. The current reckoning is as follows: the stronger the person is in terms of dormant energy, the better they can see the building.” Pausing for once a bit longer to give the students time to think about this and what it implied. “The only logical thinking we can contribute to this would be that the dormant energy flowing through our entire body, thusly also the eyes, act as a counter measure against the Fortress magical barrier.”
As he finished those words the teacher pulled out another cigarette from his pocket and lit it again, inhaling deeply. He knew very well his words had confused most of them, but now that he pointed out the connected he knew most would figure it out. To his surprise though it was not Dailon who spoke up first, but Gaikor who sat next to him, still rubbing and trying to move his ankle.
“So you are saying that the institute was formed so people would grow in strength and be able to see the white fortress in the sky?” He asked angrily having realized all their years of training were for such a stupid, futile purpose. As with most he had dreamed that after the Institute there would be a glorious, wonderful life. “All these years of training were just so we could watch some stupid white piece of rock in the sky?” He asked angrily as he jumped up and many of the students followed his example.

Fiction ~ Chapter 2
The school was bustling, the courtyard full of first years and their parents, saying goodbye to their 'oh so beloved darlings' before they started their time at this shithole. If they didn't want them to leave they shouldn't have sent them to boarding school in the first place. Stupid humans. Well it wasn't my job here to judge them, I scanned the crowds trying to find him, I knew he was there but there was just so many bloody kids and so many confusing thoughts that I couldn't pin point him at all
"Any luck?" I heard Ellette say behind me, I looked over at the small blonde girl and shook my head, the worry was already plastered across her

xX Phase One Xx Chapter One
You know those days where you wake up and think, 'Today is going to be fricking great'? Yeah. This was one of those days.
A few minutes ago was probably the first time ever that I didn't mind waking up at six-thirty in the morning to go to the crappiest high school in Los Angelos. Deep Cover blasted from my 90s-style alarm clock, and I slapped it without breaking off the top for once. I never get tired of that song, even if I do hear the chorus pretty much every morning. Hard to believe that song came out almost 175 years ago.
I also realized that I really need a haircut. My blonde hair was starting to get in my eyes, which really annoys me
